Designer on a small team for an invited competition to create a proposal for a large arts and cultural development in New Delhi India.

The design was driven by the goal of re-centering culture and art in the Public Realm in order to expose the public to creative thinking and support an cultural education. The Art Museum and Cultural Center aimed to increase the visibility of India’s contemporary art on a global stage and nurture an arts-appreciative Indian public.
The two institutions were envisioned as separate, but equal in order to create a central court that allowed to public to filter through naturally. The building form is a torque that creates a gesture bringing people from the nearby metro station into the space.
